Since the summer, I haven't lost any weight, and I've been burning more than 500 calories a day. Is burning too many calories preventing me from losing weight?

I already do eat healthy and have been cutting calories. I've been burning about an average of 900 calroies per day if that makes any difference

If you really think you have been eating well enough, and you think you should be losing weight, it's possible that you're not eating enough and working out too much and your body is trying to hold on to what it can do perform tasks. Thats the only thing I can think of.

The food you eat is made up of calories(energy). Your body needs these calories to perform the function necessary to keep you alive and then extra for all the activities you do throughout the day. If you eat more calories then your body needs you will store these (gain weight). If you eat less calories than your body needs you will use up the stored calories (lose weight).

no. maybe the way you are eating is preventing you to lose weight? are you dieting also? the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you are consuming. for example... the average person needs 2,000 calories to maintain their weight, and thats also if he/she excersizes... so just make sure that you cut calories (try 1500/day) and you should be losing weight.

uh no that's is how you lose wiegh you have to burn more calories than you take in. You must be burning around the same number of calories that you are taking in for no wiegh change. if you want to lose weigh cut back a little on your consuming and continue working out.....
