my ex and i broke up 5 months ago ... we have talked every now and then since the breakup. lately we have been talkin a lot more. she is goin through a hard time, and says she has been wanting to talk to me, but didnt know if i was ok with it. she has told me how happy she is to talk again, how i make her happy, and she can only talk to me about the things going on in her life. her friends even say she misses me, and can see it working, but needs to work out some other things in her life as well. I absolutely love this girl, she was my best friend. we have even started hanging out a little lately. But she has not said anything to me about us getting back together, even tho she has told some other people she can see it happening. She has been happier than shes been in a while since weve started talking again. I am trying to protect myself,i care about her so much and i dont want to get my hopes up to be let down, i would be crushed. does it seem like a matter of time before we get back?

if you guys do go back out or not it takes some time for a relationship to heal and maybe you're ready but she isn't I know how that feels I have been there before so anyways have faith and say your prayers kk wish u well

Get out of that relationship as fast as you can. Your being used . Your about to get dumped again. Their are many more kind gentle women available to you in this world.. Go see and listen to the world. Infatuation is not love.

seems like you might have rushed things a little in the beginging. the first ones always seem to have the most effect, i dunno maybe she wasnt quite ready for that kind of relationship yet, but she still likes you.
seems to me like there is definately hope and i would just play it cool for a while and see how things work out. it seems to be going rather well to me.
maybe this relationship needed more time than you had given it. who knows? thats my take on it at least.

I'd say for you to not get your hopes up until she actually says to you that she wants you back, that way if she never does then your heart wont be crushed anymore then it already is :) :) :)
