my cat is called a highland lynx and i know this sounds horrible wanting to put a shock collar on a cat but hes 12 pounds all muscle,
and hes very very friendly and just plain goofy,
hes not aggressive hes just playful with my other cat bella ( just a domestic short hair ) she weighs 4 pounds and is 2 years old
( the highland lynx is 7 months old and his name is jack)

but when he plays with bella he does not mean to but he hurts her so is there a shock collar for cats or can i just set it low and use a small dogs i do not want to nor will i give up either of them willingly and i dont wanna keep them separate already tried it didn't work he just got more playful.
and i dont want something automatic i want a remote for it so i can shock him when hes bad , i know it sound cruel but im worried its my only option

Jack sounds like a great cat!
I would not recommend a shock collar, simply because I think that it would confuse him. Getting zapped when he plays with Bella would just make him fearful or possibly aggressive.
Can you get Jack more exercise away from Bella? Possibly outside on a harness? Or put Bella in another room while you play with Jack? He's just a big playful kitten and he means no harm, he just wants a playmate. If you can be that playmate and wear him out some, maybe he won't be as rough with Bella. Would it be possible to add another big cat to the family to be a buddy for Jack? Or a puppy? Of course, that would probably cause Bella even more stress and they might both gang up on her. So never mind on that. Hmmm....
I know you said you tried the water bottle...maybe add a little vinegar to the water. Problem is, you have to be careful not to spray it in his eyes...but they generally hate the smell and it can be more of a deterrent than plain water. (Some of my cats and dogs in the past loved water so I had to add the vinegar!)
It can be hard to get critters to get along together. Right now I have 4 cats and 3 dogs...but I've been lucky, no real problems besides an occasional spat.
I wish you the best of luck!

i imagine that is so kind of you to have presented puss a house!!! If the cat is a siamese cat, he will be in all probability to apply his voice a lot more beneficial than an widely used loved ones cat. If a cat complains perpetually that is by way of the indisputable fact that is lower than pressure over some thing. you may favor to think about having him de-sexed if he's not already. i'd take him to a vet after all, and havce him checked over and also you may ask suggestion about the cat being loud. possibly also he replaced into not an indoor cat beforehand to procure him?. I have 2 indoor cats, and each and daily I take them for a walk on a lead, yet you want a lot of time and staying power for that. ought to you construct him an outside cat enclosure, which could make him experience happier?. All cats choose image voltaic, clean air and acess to grass and to nature otherwise they alter into depressed. i don't think of you'll get wonder collar for cats. it may me a lot kinder to locate him a clean residing house. There are places you may promote, I did that myself once at the same time as a stray cat got here to us, and that i stumbled on the cat a clean extremely good residing house.

How does he hurt Bella? Does he leave marks? I know that my cats, when they get playful, can make noises that sound like someone is getting hurt. But there are never any marks, and they still groom each other and cuddle right after. Are you sure it is so serious that you want to shock your cat?? Have you considered talking to a vet about it, surely there is another solution.

the shock collar sounds a bit drastic
have you tried using water to discipline him?
all you have to do is squirt him with water when he does something inappropriate, it works for all 3 of my cats

I wouldn't use a shock collar on a cat (or anything for that matter). I'm sure it would cause alot of pain and behavioural problems. My suggestion is to re-direct him when he starts playing to rough, throw a toy or get his attention with something like a laser pointer on the wall. He needs to burn off some energy. I'm sure if he's hurting her she will let him know but if you think it's too rough just distract him.
Good luck :)

Okay, that is just MEAN. That would be like putting a shock collar on kids and zapping them when they do something wrong. Just wrong!! Why don't you try a squirt bottle of plain water before resorting to shock therapy. *sigh*

Simple answer:
If you had two children and the same problem, would you put a shock collar on the big child?

I should hope not and that you could think of another solution. Please try the same here. Cats are bright animals and it is possible to teach them what is and what isn't acceptable without resorting to inhumane measures. Good luck!
