A christmas wreath.. My mom got one for Chanukkah one year and she sent it back to the person who gave it to her.
Think about it seriously, people are saying German products shouldn't be given to Jews... Uhm there are plenty of German Jews.. I wouldn't give a Jewish person anything you don't feel good giving them. Normally Jewish people understand you're trying to give them something you thought would be good. Besides Chanukkah is all about tradition so think about if it's something that would offend their holiday.
Also, with the pig products - Who really gives pig products to people during Christmas anyway? "Oh, I've always 3 lbs. of bacon for Christmas!!" ....

Yes a nativity set that fits nicely in the center of the living room. Or perhaps a crucifix of jesus on the cross.

that all depends on their level of religion...there are 3
reform (you can pretty much give them anything)
anything above that, well no 'pig' products of any kind, no german products either for that matter
You would most likely know if they were not reform as its more evident in their daily lives.
If they are reform, just go with what you would normally give a friend based on what THEY LIKE etc...
nothing 'Jesus' based though.

putting a menorah (precisely referred to as a "chanukkiah" because of the fact it has extra branches than the Temple's actual "menorah") on your window is a seen demonstration of help for all your Jewish pals and pals. I remember a narrative interior the information years in the past of a midwestern city the place skinheads had devoted vandalism as anti-Jewish acts and city became so outraged that christian families throughout city displayed lit menorahs of their homestead windows as an indication of solidarity.

Anything from another faith, such as something w/ Jesus on it, would be offensive. It would also be ill advised to give them anything lewd. Gag gifts are unacceptable. It would be best for you to consult Jewish websites to reference appropriate gifts, if you want to please this person.

I'd just say watch the gift wrapping. I can't tell you how many "hannukah" gifts I've received with friggin' santas and elves on it. The rest of it is obvious, we aren't another species.
