Braces aren't that bad. They may be a pain in the a** but in the long run they are worth it. As long as you take care of your teeth and follow the orthodontist's instructions everything will be fine. Most people are mature enough not to pick on you so don't worry about it.

Smiling shows your emotion. The true you. If people judge your smile because you have braces then they're just wrong. Think of it this way, because of those braces one day your smile will be so beautiful you'll want to show your teeth off every second of the day. It's one of the most attractive and connecting things you can do, even with no teeth! So cheer up! :)

No, not at all these days there is a lot of improvement in dental sciences especially about braces. if you want you can go for braces infact after removing braces definitely your smile is going to impress many and I strongly recommend you to contact a doctor in this matter. My cousin recently got fixed and she is not having any problem.

Doesn't make sense. If you have a beautiful smile, why need braces? And in this generation, no one gets picked on because of their braces anymore. A third of my school has braces. It doesn't even matterr.

Having braces will not ruin your life, the only thing that will ruin your life is worrying about being picked on. If they do pick on you ignore them.

do you mean they'll make fun of you with your braces on, or after they're off? i have braces, and, as long as i look people in the eye when speaking to them, they tend not to notice i even have them. be assured, though, braces are meant to help, not ruin your smile.

no, dont worry. I used to have braces too. nobody picked on me for it. if anyone gives you a hard time about it, dont take it personally and remember that a lot of people have braces, its no big deal. im so much happier that i had them because my teeth are so much better.

Some places, at least where I live, use invisible braces called inviaslign or something, they are clear.
I wish they had that when I needed braces, I had it all, the "railroad tracks", headgear and retainer.

Nobody will be picking on you, and if they do,,,,,,,,once the braces come off, you give them the biggest, most beautiful smile the've ever seen.
