I wonder why you hung on the phone for up to an hour each time?

If I don't get someone within 10 minutes, I hang up.

Maybe it's time to change your phone company. Put all complaints in writing and keep a copy for yourself.

While it's good to sound stern in your writing, remain coherent. Stick to the facts and mention your disappointment at the poor customer service (i.e., not enough agents to take calls).

State that you are giving them 10 working days (that's two weeks including the weekends) to reimburse you for your wasted calls or you'll be closing your account and moving to a new provider.

Obviously you felt the need to call them because something wasn't right with the current set-up. You have rights. They cannot fob you off with their contract small-print. If they provide a service that is not of 'merchantable quality' you have the right to cancel.

They'll take more notice if you tell them you are taking your money elsewhere.

Make a point of telling them that you will not be recommending them to friends or family. That will make them sit up and think about potential lost revenue.

Remember, if they pay you back for those four phone calls, you'll be singing their praises and recommending more customers to them.

They need you more that you need them.

You should have gone with virgin mobile they only charge flat rate of 10p per call!!!!!! Your best bet is to put your complaint in writing, state how much the calls cost you and say you are not happy with these costs and ask them to reimburse you. It might not work but you can try. Emailing isnt really a good option as many companies seem to ignore these even though they advertise this as a way to contact them.GOOD LUCK

I don't think you can get your money back for that cos that's why they do it to generate more money out of you.If the fone company valued you as a customer it would have a free fone no' for you to call.

You maybe able to get your money back if you play dirty!! when you finally do get in contact with them tell them that the operative put the fone down on your numerous time you should get some sort of compensation for that

yes you should be able to. Call your service provider and explain the situation to them. Now you need to sound angry because they really don't like reimbursing money so definitely sound stern and you'll get your money back.

They don't like to refund money once they have it. Good luck.
