Someone told me it was satanistic. True?

If you want to badly enough, you can make anything be as satanic or as saintly as you want. I heard that it is based on a dove's footprint. But to me it means what it means to me, and so what of it's origins? No one is "accidentally" going to honor Satan. Our motives come from within us, no place else.

A little bit of wisdom goes a long way on things like this.

Its usually confused with the Pentagon--- ahh I mean pentagram.

But the peace symbol is a combination of the male sexual organ (the straight line) and the female (the triangle) and its showing penetration. Its the symbol of love making.

That's why in the 60s the phrase was "Make love, not war!"

Oldguy: WOW really!? Its not what my religion teacher said.

NO, it is a code, you know, I think semaphore, or something like that, where they use code with flags, each letter is a different letter.

The peace symbol is the combination of the "N' and the "D" of that code.

Stands for nuclear disarmament.

That came out when I was a young man, and it was the cross turned upside down and the arms broken. It is in rebellion against Christ as the Savior. It was in defiance that Christ would not be the one to bring peace to earth.

No, it is not satanic! Damn, the fanatics!

It is a "gesture of dispair". It is not a chicken foot, as in too chicken to go to Viet Nam. That is asinine.
