I think it has already happened..
It is scary, but I feel it is all too real..
mankind can be blamed for the new frequent weird viruses and illnesses in this world...
Just think, 100 years ago, people did not worry about over half the diseases we all are getting at an alarming rate today...

If disases are created by man, then it is classified as germ-warfare. Unfortunately, germ-warfare has occured in the past, so what prevents it from occuring now, just in secrecy? Where did AIDS come from? It was unkown until a few decades back.

I fail to see the profit angle but certainly diseases like AIDS have no clear origin.

you mean like drug addiction and alcoholism or are you referring to aids.
Its an interesting concept. did you know that the highway patrol uses radar guns and speeders use radar detectors from the same manufacturers? Everytime they come up with new technology, they sell the next generation to pretty much everybody that wants it and can affor it. I guess the pharmaceticl companies could do the same.

Cigarettes are man made. They are legal.There is the business community making profits and paying taxes.
Smokers are suffering and paying.

or worse yet, pharmaceutical companies buy a "cure" drug and don't make it available to the public, so they can keep selling people meds to help them maintain for there whole life.
People will do anything for money, and your concept is very possible. Maybe you can sell your idea to a movie producer and make a fortune. Write yourself a fictional book.
