Pay attention to a 'stranger' (in line at a grocery store, a person at a food booth at a fair etc.) Engage in light pleasant conversation with that person and/or pay them a sincere compliment. I have alot of little 'sprinklings' that I do...that is just one of them.

Anyway ........

Joy is spreading good feelings which can encompass happiness, kindness, sharing etc etc. My sister-in-law liked to use the word KARMA. I like to TRY to spread some joy everyday bu doing good deeds throughout. Opening doors for people, being courteous on the freeway, giving compliments to others etc etc. You would be suprised how joyful people react. It is such a rush when someone gets something nice from someone they don't know. That in itself is a reward.
JOY should be given 365 days

My guess is that is what Jesus, Muhammad, Budda, God, the saints, apostles etc wanted us to do. The core of their messages?

I'm upbeat and friendly with cashiers, waiters, waitresses and anyone I do any kind of business or transaction with; If someone gives me really good service, I think them for it, and if it's especially good, I call the manager and tell them about it and give them the person's name. If there's someone in line behind me with just one item in the grocery store and I have a bunch, I offer to let them go ahead of me. I let people out in traffic, wave a thank you when they let me go, and give people in front of me a minute extra at the light if they need it, without laying on the horn, I smile at Moms with babies crying in a store. I don't call a manager every time an employee is less than friendly (once) or makes an honest mistake, and instead try to give them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has a bad day now and then and I don't know what might be going on in their life at the time, so I don't complain based on just one incident. Little things like that, whenever possible. They don't take money or very much time and makes us both feel good, so why not?

To spread joy, you would need to be good and set examples for others. Then, give to the poor and ask the rich to do the same. Remember that love does not mix with money.

Give people money (just family members though)! The joy is only temporary but hey it works.

I LITERALLY spread joy - butter and my grandmother's raspberry jam on a thick slice of warm homemade bread.

I guess by sharing my testimony about the things that have happened in my life. My life has been full of ups and downs, and sometimes I feel like I'm loosing faith, but then God reminds me, in his own way, that he is still here watching over me. I have sinned, my life has been full of ups and downs, even to this day, I still continue to sin, but I know that God knows my heart and my life, and everything that's ever happened in my life, and I know, that he is the ONLY one that does, and I know, that sometimes, when I start to take things for grant it, he reminds me, that all things that I have have came from him and the only way to live life is to walk in blind faith and to know that ALL THINGS ARE!!!! GOD"S will and that if I pray to him, he will answer. And Jesus is wonderful to, he has already taken the punishment for all of the sins that I have commited, and I do feel guilty and know that I am unworthy, but also know, that we all are and that that is why he died, as a gift to this world, a gift of eternal life. This Christmas, remember to tell Jesus happy Birthday, and remember that he lives in all of us.
