I'm a 19 year old guy. I like this girl a lot and i wanna tell her that i like her a lot & also getting her a gift for Xmas. Also, she is leaving soon for Australia for two years for studies in 2 months time. Any good gift ideas????

If you want to tell her you like her a lot you should include it in a note with the gift -- some way for her to keep in contact with you would be perfect.
I know snail mail is a thing of the past but a nice set of stationary and a pen (something girly, perhaps, and of good quality) with a note that says, "I like you and don't want to lose contact. Keep in touch with me."
Or something that she'll be using frequently, tied in with her studies (don't know what they are so can't make a suggestion) or with Australia. Perhaps a pair of pajama's with kangaroos on them.
You can get mini-ipod's engraved on the back -- have engraved something like, "Listen to music while exploring australia, we'll listen together when you get back."
And, remember, presentation is all! Put nice gift wrapping on it. Girls like that crap.

If you wanted a special piece of jewelry, you can shop online and create your own jewelry for her. Jamming Gems has already finished jewelry, and they also have settings and a large variety of gemstones that you can choose from. They have a personalization where you can pick the setting and stone/s and have them set them for you. It's a great way to get a gift that is both personal and reasonably priced! Another fun thing is painting, there is a company called Sips N Strokes, they offer painting classes, depending on where you are I'm sure they either have one or something similar.

condoms. Dude,if she's going to Australia for 2 years and if you live in America. Forget about her and get yourself a girl who's near by and plans to stay near by you. But, the condoms is still a good gift.

Make her something... like a CD of songs you think she'll like. I know I would love for a guy to make me something like that.
Another good idea could be some homemade cookies (but be sure she doesn't have any food allergies)... the fact that you took the time to actually make her something would show that you really care.

jewelry. earrings or a bracelet. nothing overstated. you can find simple and beautiful pieces for $50-100. and girls love jewelry. i think it is a mature step. and she will wear it, think of you...keep it forever....etc.
