Why don't abortionists believe that we have GROWN in the womb "one cell at a time"? And that each cell TOWARD LIFE is as important as the next?

You must be kidding Nicholas. You have to be educated enough to know that it takes ONLY the JOINING of one sperm with one egg to create human life! Must I explain the facts of life to you?

Sorry, Nick, I meant "Human life" A single cell life like a sperm or bacteria from a dirty toilet is NOT HUMAN LIFE. Only a fertalized egg is from the joining of one sperm and one egg. I'm explaining the facts of life again here. Go ask your parents!

You make a very good point, which of course will not be taken by the abortionists nor the evolutionists.

You are comparing apples and oranges.

1) If life evolved from single celled organisms, as is likely, then there were a considerable number of these organisms that 'failed' or died. Who should we 'blame' for that? 'God'?

2) If you are going to make the distinction that a single cell organism is a living thing or, as I suspect you are trying to say, it has a 'soul', then is a sperm cell a living thing? Is a female egg? If a man ejaculates and 'kills' millions of sperm cells without impregnating an egg, does that mean he is guilty of genocide?

3) The thing the reactionary anti-abortion people seem to always miss is that you can't pin down 'when' a grouping of cells becomes a human being. Is an early stage fetus that has yet to develop a nervous system a human? If it can't feel pain and it could potentially grow into a human who will live in misery, then wouldn't you be doing it a favor by stopping it from developing before it even has the chance to feel pain? And what about miscarriages? Are spontaneous abortions a 'sin'? If the female body rejects a fetus does that mean that 'god' is responsible?

4) Have any of these thoughts crossed your mind? Or would you rather just over simplify things and base your opinions on flimsy knowledge?

5) Just wondering.

Not all evolutionists are pro-choice. If you can't understand that, then you should stop reading from this point.

Evolution says species evolve through time, perhaps to change to their environments. This can be seen with people living in different areas around the earth.

Pro-choice advocates rally for a right for a woman to choose if she wants to give birth or not after she has been pregnated. This arguement doesn't pertain to evolution in any way.

On a more precious point, linking "cells evolving" to "cells manifesting" is a poor example. Cells evolve when they learn to fight a new virus in the blood (white cells i guess). Cells manifesting is a blood clot. Same cells, different functions.

So now that you recognize that cells can manifest and build the human body, wouldn't you think stem cell research is a good idea?

you're taking evolutionism thoroughly out of context. Evolutionists believe that people besides as different species will evolve at the same time as evolution is critical, and at the same time as communique with different human beings will be significant we've already got the procedures to finish that (fingers and voice). cellphones are generated by human fingers if no longer machines, which all boil all the way down to what people have produced, with the purpose to respond to your question: No, evolutionists do not believe sometime toddlers will be born with cellphones of their ears. And no scientist is mad, they have made large advances and discoveries in human variety.

Evolutionists DON'T believe we have evolved one cell at a time--and what does that have to do with what an abortionist believes anyway?

Wow, a Strawman and a meaningless comparison in one post. Colour me impressed!

OK, I am a pro-life atheist, so I am somewhat on your side here.

But where do you get that we evolved one cell at a time? That isn't what evolution is about at all. It says that the more likely you are to survive the more of your kind will be around.

People have some weird ideas about evolution.

We shed 500 million cells a day. Is that murder?
Evolutionists and abortionists are two different groups.

Abortionists and Evolutionists are not the same group of people.

if you are pro life and support this belief, then I want to ask you why a LIVING sperm cell is not a human life? Under your logic, any man who masturbated would be committing mass murder....by the MILLIONS

The actual nature of your question is wrong as well. Evolution does not deal with "one cell at a time" and to assume it works that way would be incorrect.

Yes, I am serious. You say, "each cell TOWARD LIFE is as important as the next", so tell me how, under your logic, a sperm cell is less important than the next? Is it not "alive"? Furthermore, your argument is ridiculous, and you are comparing two things that have nothing to do with each other. I could sit here and say "My car is black! So why doesn't my television get the NFL network?!!!" Do you not understand this????

What the hell is an abortionist? I've got news for you. Pro-choice defenders are defending YOUR rights to do what ever the hell you want with your body. You will thank them someday. In the meantime, should we be calling the pro-life crowd the 'anti-women's rights' group?

We do, but we also believe that women should have a say on whether they want their body to be used as a chamber for new life.
