Definitely. Of course, if you're not very far along make sure you tell the dentist you're pregnant.

YES. Women with periodontal disease are at far greater risk for delivering pre-term as well as for having low birth weight babies. Dental infection allowed to remain is far worse for you and your baby than having the tooth removed. Be careful with over the counter pain medication as well. Aspirin and ibuprofen should not be taken while pregnant (especially after the first trimester). Limit yourself to the minimum effective dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain. A weak narcotic pain medication such as codeine or hydrocodone may be prescribed by your dentist or OB-GYN, and is far safer to take while pregnant than aspirin or ibuprofen. The local anesthetics that will be used during the procedure are also very safe at low concentrations. Best of luck for a healthy pregnancy, and don't be scared to discuss your concerns with your dentist and OB.

Pregnant women tend to bleed a bit more, so dentists may be hesitant in some cases, but sure.

Yep. Thats what all the illegal immigrants do when they are pregnant because they can have free insurance for the time that they are pregnant.
