How tough are you? If you are tough, then you won't wait for some particular day to come, you will just decide to do it and get over the curve as quickly as possible. Waiting until January 1st won't help you now. That's an excuse. Don't be afraid.

Learn right now that there is one thing that is never mentioned in any diet: You have to learn to feel comfortable with some hunger in your stomach. It's really not so bad and you will get over it faster than you think.

Get in the habit of drinking water everytime you think of food that is not on your diet. Keep some with you at all times. There are many more benefits to drinking water.

Don't get hung-up with supplements and expensive aids, that are made by people who are betting that you are not tough enough to get over a few speed bumps.

All excuses are equal, you know. I can promise you that this won't be the most difficult thing that you will ever have to do. Unfortunately, there are lots of people who have been trying to convince you that it is.

Make a decision. If it's not now, then it probably won't happen...you probably don't want it to happen.

Best of Luck!

The best way that I have found when I get off track (which I was a few weeks ago BAD) is not to wait until January 1, to do it RIGHT NOW! If you wait until Jan. 1 you may totally be unmotivated. I say start right this minute getting back on it...if you slip up some during the holidays no big deal, it is a lifestyle change, and you aren't going to be perfect all the time. Don't beat yourself up over it, but just get back on track now-don't wait until Jan.
