Hey everyone. Okay, i need your help. I started working with this guy, Dan, and i go to school with him. I've only knowwn him for a few months. SO, i thought he liked me, all the signs were there so one night i decided to ask him to go to the movies saturday night and he said, "No, i have a girl and i have work." Well, i was devastated i cried for a few, but i got over it, and im cool now. But, i was talking to my freinds and they were like he doesn't have a girlfreind. Because, if he had a g/f, wouldn't people know by now? Then, i saw him tonight at DUnkin Donuts and he was with all his freinds. Don't you think if he had a g/f he'd be with her on a friday night? I just don't understand why he would reject me if he liked me. I mean im sure it wasn't all in my head.

It could be he likes you as a friend but doesn't want to date you , and told you what he did to keep from hurting your feelings. Give it some time maybe he'll come around. Good luck!

Well some people express themselves by flirting. I know this seems unfair but it's just the way some people are. I'm sure that if he really liked you that he would've said yes. Maybe he had just been in a bad relationship and wasn't quite ready for a new one. Keep observing and try again later.

He could have a girlfriend. Maybe she was with her friends that night or had to babysit or work or something. If he really doesn't have a girl friend, I would just drop it. Move on to the next guy and maybe just continue to be FRIENDS at work and school.

Maybe he just THINKS he has a agirl. He may actually have a crush on someone, and thinks he is going to get to be with her soon if he doesn't screw up. Sound wierd but it happens. Or he may have had a girl and they broke up and he thinks they'll get back together. He may even like guys...........Just be straight up and ask him about her. Be honest about how it looks to you.
