If you need a girlfriend to give you confidence, you are quite possibly the biggest sad sack on Earth. You can get it just as well through being completely independent of dating. That's what I'm doing.

You should look for confidence elsewhere and then get a girlfriend. The fact that you can even get a girlfriend should boost your confidence anyways. Plus, its not nice to use people like that. How would you feel if someone you really liked only went out with you because they wanted to use you?

I would say look for confidence first and then get a girlfriend later. What would happen if you built up your confidence because of some girl and then you break up? I would be afraid that your confidence would take a major hit. So I think you should look for the confidence yourself and don't let anyone take it from you.

Confidence comes from within. If you need a gf to build it up for you, it's like putting a band aid on an amputation.

Sure, get a bf and a gf and do 3-somes. If you can satisfy both a guy and a gal, wouldn't you feel confident that you can satisfy anyone?

Wherever you feel is better....
but make sure the gf can support and understand you, and you can do the same....I say you go and make lots of new friends, girls and guys and then you'll boost a bit of confidence...just talking to one gal who can undrestand your shyness I dont know if its helping, unless you date a tomboy...

when you get a gf you have to put her first...so I really don't think that you are ready to put anyone before yourself... You have to find confidence else where...before you get a girlfriend...

i think if u like her then its ok but just using a girl u dont evn like 2 build up ur confedince isnt ok(cuz while ur buildin urs up when she finds out what u did u will break hers down)(also if u find u rly like this grl and she finds out u just went out w/ her 2 help urself u mite lose her)

Of course not and YOU know it.It's never a good idea to USE anyone.NO ONE is supposed to make YOU happy .That's YOUR job.No ONE else is responsible for your happiness but you.
