I really like dogs so I will get one but my cats would hate the dog!!!!!!!!!!!!

you would be righ if you got a dog and you have a cat dog and cats do not mix they do not like each other so my advice to you is do not get a dog unless you want trouble hope this helps thanks nicole2006

Most cats get used to it in time, some do not. We have three cats and a dog. Two like the dog and one hates him. Just make sure the dog is cat friendly. Be sure the cat has somewhere she can go to get away from the dog when she wants. Don't let the dog pester her. It might be a good idea to have an off-limits room for the dog so the cat can feel that it has it's own territory. Just some suggestions, I hope things work out. PS Don't get rid of the cat to get a dog. That is irresponsible.

If you introduce the dog and cat properly they shouldn't have a problem but if they do you should just make them deal with it cause the cat will get use to the dog after a while when the dog gets older.

Thats not necessarily true. At first, your cats would probably freak out. But it also depends on how socialized your cats are. If theya re very comfortable with you, then they will be with a dog. Cats are very jealous. I have 4 cats, and introduced 3 dogs in to the house. Yes, at first, they freaked out, but now, they all lay together. Just make sure you show alot of affection to the cat while the dog is there, and make sure the dog is CAT FRIENDLY.

Not really I had a Dog and a cat and they got along..really. Some pets maybe don't like the smell.

If you think that would be the case then I would recommend that you do not get a dog, it would be very unfair to your cats.

when you give food to your pets make sure that they eat together from the same plate if your cats does't do this then feed your dog first after his done give the leftovers to your cats
