Yes and it is very easy! Check out the Fat Smash Diet - I know it is a horrid name but it's really not that bad of a plan. Focuses on healthy eating and exercise. I tried it for just about 9 days and lost 7 lbs which I've now kept off for 2 months. The key to this 'diet' is really starting out with a major diet change that you gradually work into eating more foods. It also recommends eating more meals per day.

Here is a sample menu for one day (5 meals per day evenly spaced out):
Meal 1 - 1/2 c. oatmeal, fruit and 1 c. skim or soy milk
Meal 2 - 1/2 c. brown rice w/1 tsp soy sauce, steamed broccoli and 1 tangerine
Meal 3 - 1 c. black beans, 1 chopped tomato, 1 tsp. olive oil, fresh cilantro and lime (this is actually quite a tasty little salad)
Meal 4 - boca burger or 2 scrambled egg whites, grilled peppers and onions, 1 c. brown rice
Meal 5 - smoothie made with 6 oz. plain yogurt, 1/2 c. fruit, 1/2 c. fruit juice and ice.

As you can see the basic idea is to eat plenty of fruit and veggies and suppliment that with whole grains and non-meat proteins. I followed the plan for 9 days and was amazed. Then I switched to the 'Way to Eat' for a lifestyle change and I've not gained an ounce since then. It's all healthy and nothing extreme.

Basically no meat for the first 9 days on the 10th day you can add (each day eat this in addition to the above sample):
4 oz. of lean fish, poultry or meat
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. hot cereal
exercise 10% more then you did before - say if you did 30 minutes up it to 35 minutes.

The book actually gives huge lists of what you can eat during each phase.

To maintain a healthy eating lifestyle I'd recommend 'The Way to Eat' it's a great book that explains why your body works the way it does and how the foods you eat affect you. It recommends taking a snack pack with you so whenever you get hungry you have something quick and healthy to eat. I have my snack pack with a bag of baby carrots, bottle of water, bottle of 100% fruit juice, Erin Baker Breakfast Cookies, single serving size applesauce and mandarine oranges. It's truly a life saver.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks??

There are some websites on the Internet, which promise you that you are going to lose 10 pounds in every 2 weeks. If you are good in math you will find that keeping these stats in mind, 260 pounds in a year. Losing 260 pounds is the figure, which is unbelievable and unexpected.

This kind of claims are planned just to cause clients to make impulsive decisions. When you gain weight, did you gained around 50 minds in two months? Certainly not. We gain weight in weight in small parts, which add up to our weight. This keeps on increasing with time.

I think you get what I mean to say. We normally gain weight in grams like 65 gram per week. With this stat you are going to gain around 7 pounds at the end of year.

This weight is so slow that you cannot measure it weekly. But in fur years you are going to gain around 28 pounds.

So how can you expect this weight to go in few days? You are going to lose the way you have gained it. So it will take time to lose weight. So you have to start losing weight systematically. You can lose weight by developing the good eating habits in you and nutritious foods.

Have you tried a cleanse? I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried Isagenix 9 day cleanse. I'm going to do it again next month. My doctor recommended it to me for my weight loss. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Even if it's just walking around the mall or the track. I'm now on month 2 and I've lost a total of 35lbs. Good luck.

Drink lots of water, like 12 glasses a day, eat all fruit(strawberries and blueberries are the best) and do some cardiovascular workout, even if it's walking around the block or doing jumping jacks in your home! 3 pounds will easily come off in 9 days!
Also, cut out all caffenee drinks...no soda or coffee...also watch the amount of sugar you take in...WATER...WATER...WATER...that's the key!

Yes and no. You can lose 3 pounds in a day, but the weight will come right back. You can easily "sweat of the weight" but once you rehydrate you will put it right back on.
