I would chose Vancouver just for the mountains and ocean, but Toronto is a great city too- depends on what you're looking for.

Vancouver is the most beautiful city in the world but rather vapid. Toronto is the most multiethnic city in the world. Make your choice.

If you like getting rained on all the time with cold winter rain for months in a row, choose Vancouver
If you like the adventure of full winters with snow sometimes, or extreme cold sometimes, and lots of moderate winter weather too, but relatively way way less winter rain, choose Toronto. Also, if you like to travel, Toronto may be relatively more convenient, closer to Quebec, Montreal, New York, Boston, Carribean, and Europe. There is adequate downhill skiing too, just an hour drive north, on snow without mudslides and avalanches.

What appeals to you when considering a city to live in? It will be easier for me to help you out if I know what interests and appeals to you. Both cities are great, however, each city has characteristics and activities that are better than the other.

For me, Toronto is much better than the other place. i feel like Toronto is more peaceful....... I was born there, and lived there for 4 years, so that's why I can say that Toronto is much, much better! And people are nicer. (That was in 1993 to 1997...I don't know if people are still nice.)

a million. protection and coffee crime fee I somewhat have lived in Vancouver yet no longer in Toronto whether I stay in London, ON so i be attentive to a pair stuff approximately Toronto. Crime fee - they say that's low yet I somewhat have additionally lived in important US cities and my automobile has in basic terms been broken into in Vancouver ... 4 circumstances. This in no way befell in Texas or Florida or maybe Mexico city (properly, in basic terms as quickly as). there's a important drug concern in the two cities. that's totally major in Vancouver's Eastside. people are like strolling zombies because of the fact they are searching for his or her next restore and that they are commonly seen begging interior the streets. 2. sparkling environment (much less polluted air and water) I lived in Mexico city so everywhere i flow looks very sparkling to me by ability of assessment. 3. living costs (housing, gas, utilities, grocery, procuring and and so on...) Very high priced in the two yet extra so in Van. the government in basic terms authorized extra will improve in taxes for gas there in an attempt to decrease emissions. each thing in Canada seems to be approximately 30% extra high priced than interior the U. S.. If that's the place you're shifting from, be waiting for that. 4. extra activity possibilities Toronto as yet somebody else mentioned. 5. different cultures (gay community, ethnic foodstuff, Asians) They the two look very different and accepting for the main section. 6. Friendliness of people(citizens often) I somewhat have had undesirable reviews in Ontario even though it might desire to be in basic terms my adventure and it might desire to be London, no longer Toronto. In Vancouver, i got here across people to be very open and friendly yet returned, possibly I in basic terms have been given fortunate. Vancouver looks to entice left-wing granola eating tree huggers extra so than Toronto so if it is your element, in basic terms flow there. 7. climate and climates (i'm enormously effective Vancouver is extra suitable!) I hate the climate in Ontario yet i did no longer like Vancouver's the two. I lived in Texas and Florida so ... it in basic terms can't be in comparison. it could't be sturdy. in basic terms decide: gray, cloudy and snowy or gray, cloudy and wet? solar isn't difficulty-free to perceive except that's summer season.
