My boyfriend and I have both gotten credit cards in the mail from "The First National Merchant Credit Card Advantage." Is this company a scam or is it legit? Do they always randomly send credit cards to people?

To me this sound like a scam. Read this websites listed below.

It makes you think your doing business with First National or First Merchants bank both banks have no connection with them at all.

This place should be closed down.

In general the major credit card companies will not, and are not permitted to send unsolicited cards. Also if the card is not a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx, or one of the other major names, it is like the other person mentioned, just a single merchant account.

yes if they are trying to entice you to use there money and charge you and arm and leg.there should never be ant type of fees, there are too many competitors out there now for you to pay.you must have a good credit score so apply at your local bank.if you have bad credit then it is probably shady

It is a card used only to purchase their items, like Finger hut, don't get it, it's not worth it..and you still need to be approved for purchases anyway..I get em all the time, and I never used em.

Good luck.
