I'm really shy and have actually been told by guys I'm intimidating because I look mad, but once they know me they like me. Could this be why i'm not approached by guys as much because I'm told I'm pretty and people who know me like my personality. I'm just very shy and dont have high self esteem. Would trying to be more confident help?

Hmmm . . . it isn't that intimidating, it's discouraging. Being more confident might help. But what you REALLY need to do is talk more. If you have enough conversation, you will not be shy anymore. I know it works that way, because I used to be very shy also. Just talk! If you don't have anything in particular to say, ask questions. Good luck!

I wudnt say all guys r intimidated by shy girls. Sum like shy girls. But i personally think confidence is a real turn on 4 a guy. So, don't rely on others 2 boost ur self-esteem even tho it dos help. Just personally make urself better 4 u n noone else. When guys c that ur confortable in ur skin n confident they'll luv u n c that ur different from sum other girls n a great way. Trust me i definently no, like don't appear 2 b conseeded n 2 focused on wut u look like, just b urself so that u no whoever dos like u likes u 4 u. Hope i helped. Good Luck!

Self-esteem is a killer, babe. If it's not there, it's not there, and your first order of business is to find out what you like about YOU. I mean, if people tell you you're pretty, you should look in the mirror until you see it. If you're crippled by self-doubt, then guys are going to pick up on it. Be your own biggest fan, and you'll find someone out there to pick up any slack. But guys are terrified as it is trying to find someone. There's a lot of rejection out there to be had, and a lot of guys find it hard to strike up a conversation if you're too shy to talk. So start small, but don't force things. Being shy can be cute, just understand that it's hard for them to break the ice, too.

yea it would help. some guys are prolly just afraid to talk to you cuz they don't want to scare you away. so they just make small talk and hope they dont offend you or something. the cute shy girl is a cute thing however some people may find you unapproachable cuz u may seem like u don't want to be botherd.

You can look mad or sad, Tina, but if you show some TIT or bend over without panties, you will be approached by a lot of guys and they won't notice the look on your face. This will boost your self confidence and esteem, I'm sure. The most important thing is not being shy, but earning the reputation about being a tiger in bed.
