Ephesian 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in you all.

Well the teaching of the Church actually is more authoritative than scripture. Remember, the Catholic Church collected and deemed 'inspired' our modern Bible? What gave them the authority to do so? The Holy Spirit given at Pentacost. So, you might find some good info by reading the Didache. It was around before scripture as we know it was bound together into our modern Bibles.

there is one faith, one baptism
Corinthians I think
ok im wrong its
Ephesians 4:5
one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
(Bilions and Billions... arent you glad the late Carl Sagan is now a creationist now that he went to stand before God... its a little late as today is the day of salvation)
The Catrholic church is most definitely NOT more authoritative than the scriptures and that would be one of the weakest teaching of the modern Catholic church undermining the authority of scripture
