I don't know whether I believe in God or not, but let me tell ya something. If this God of yours can't control this stuff, then what makes him powerful enough to BE a God in the first place? Of course (if he's there) he CAN control it, and chooses not to, or does it himself. And BTW, according to the bible, he DID flood the earth once, but I thought everyone knew this. You believe in a VERY weak God.

God allows things to happen in our lives, so that we can draw closer to Him. Also we can help others when things we have experienced in troubled times. Satan is the one who tells the lies, and causes bad things to happen. Satan only goes after Christians any way. He has all the other people. God created the world, and He can destroy it also, but He does love us. He is a just and holy God. He hates sin, but loves the sinner.

And just how do the beliefs of others effect you? If that is what someone wishes to believe then isn't that on them. What exactly does it have to do with you?

all IS "god"
all that happens IS "god"
people's reaction to what happened: "god"
the people that react: "god"

and "god" simply observes from the sidelines with a benevolent smile
