Good or bad is limited by the human experience. Leaving a pile of crap in your yard may seem bad to you, but the flies love it. Having raw sewage run through your backyard probably bad, but microscopic life would love it. Only life forms can attribute the good or bad characteristics, and humanity and other life forms do not have the same perspective. Even among humans there are often differences from one person to another. Inanimate objects do not experience life, and would not be subject to good or bad, but humans could interpret an an occurance to a non living thing as being good or bad.

How can God do bad things to material entities? Hmmm... who should we ask in regards to that one?
The people of Sodom? Job? Lot's wife? The umteen thousand people who died in the Biblical floods? Oh! How about the Moses' adoptive brother Pharoah? The people of Jerico?
There are tons of examples of how spiritual beings can really mess with the material world, Biblicaly and otherwise.

God is not just a "spiritual creature" he is an entitiy unto himself. Check the bible not only can he destroy material things but its documented in his word where he has destroyed cities, the entire world at one point, people or just anything/one he so choses that does not recognize him as the absolute being creator of ALL things. The ALPHA & the OMEGA (the BEGINNING & the END).

Demons can torment or possess people. God isn't so much a creature, since He's uncreated. He's a being, and He doesn't do anything bad to anyone. He does punish ppl for doing wrong, however that's delivering justice, when you say "do anything bad" it implies malicious intent.
