Puppies usually have big stomachs when they're a few months old. Our Rottweiler gave birth just recently and soon, they all had big bloated stomachs which were funny to look at. It could be overfeeding or worms. Turns out they have worms because they kept eating stuff from the ground, which made them wolf down more than they can eat. Prevent this by training them to eat on their bowls only.

Is the belly always big or only after eating?
If his belly is really big, looks bloated all the time, check it for bumps, if it has bumps(it will look like a rash) then that means it has worms, you can take him to the vet or buy a dewormer.
