OK so my ex- boyfriend is 25 and I'm 21. We dated for a month then HE ended it saying that he's "busy". Our relationship was very innocent, it never went past kissing cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. Neways, we both go to the same univresity, I'm an undergrad while he's a grad student. I was crossing the street and he caled my name and we talked for a bit. At the end of the conversation he asked me "to give him a shoutout of I ever to "hang out". I said said bye & walked away. That was a month ago & he never brought it up even on msn, thus I thought it was just fake. Today I got the biggest surprise, I logged on msn and he said hi right away. he asked me my plans for the winter break & I did then he told me that he's gonna have a long break & travel. Then he sadi "we should meet up". I said sure & now we're meeting up next week. He said he'll call me the night before. WHY does he wanna see me now? Is this a "hang out" for him or does he wanna get back?

Unfinished business perhaps...maybe he sees that he may be missing out on what he had before. Your best bet is to play it cool. Don't jump to any conclusions thinking automatically that he wants to get back with you, he just may miss your company. I still keep in touch with my ex's and when we hang out I'm already in my comfort zone because I know the person. Who knows just play it out and see what happens. He'll let know if he wants to get back with you.

Honestly, it sounds like he needs entertained.. for him to tell you that he wants to "hang out" and than doesn't say anything about meeting up for a month isn't very flattering for yourself. You said yourself that he explained he was "busy", so this won't make a difference on his busy life. I wouldn't meet up with him thinking he wants to get back. I would observe his behavior and if he's serious about wanting to see you, than make him prove it over time :)

He doesn't want to be alone this time of year...give it a shot see where it goes if you like him.
It sounds like he sincerely enjoys your company and wants to spend time with you. He just doesnt want to say all that...so wanna hang out is just his way of saying I miss you.

Well my female-side says "maybe he still has feelings for you and wants to spend time with you, either get back with you or just develop a friendship"....but my guy-side says "be careful - he may just want you back to get in your pants. Beware!"
