not necessarily, but it should somethings close to it, don't worry if they are not the same, more than 2/3 of people do not have their arm span the same as their height. so you are perfectly normal.

well you just answered your own question. you are 5'7 and your arm span is 6', so NO it isnt true because you have two different lengths there.
BUT did YOU KNOW that if you measure from your elbow to your wrist that is your foot size? That is true. Not like the person above stated about the pinky to the thumb, that is not true.

On average, this is true for adults. You are still growing and will probably catch up with your arms.... Although, a minority of people never become "balanced".
