can i do taxes for the 06 year with turbo tax 05 perium or where can i get a free program where i can start my own business instead of investing money in to a new program

You must buy a new 2006 program. There are several things that have changed and been removed since 2005. However you should be aware most of these programs even when you pay for them have a maximum number of returns you can complete without buying another software package. It is ultimately best to get a professional do you taxes. We are much better educated than the average person on taxes specifically. The company I work for requires continuing education credits each year in order to be rehired. This not only keeps us up to date but allows us to have an indepth understanding and the ability to discover things you may miss.

You have to get 2006 because: 1) the program won't allow you, and 2) the rules have changed so dramatically that it will end up screwing you. Remember, FREE and ACCURATE TAXES don't occur in the same sentence.
