I don't want to get anytthing sentimental enough for a girlfriend, but I do want to acknowledge the relationship.

I greatly admire the fact that you're not completely discontinuing all contact with your ex because she's an ex. It takes a lot of courage to look past a break-up and say, "Let's just be friends." It also takes a great amount of compassion for others, which you certainitly seem to have. That, in itself, is admirable.

As far as the gift for the ex...that's a bit of a tough one. First of all, it would really depend on your current relationship with her, and her interests. A bottle of perfume that you know she loves is relativly non-sentimental, but also shows that you care enough to buy something nice.

Another great idea for a gift is a photo album. While it is entirely sentimental, it is more of a "we have a history" way. It says, "don't forget me, and I won't forget you," even though the two of you aren't dating. A photo album would aknowledge the fact that the two of you shared an experiance unmatched by other, more casual (aquantance-type) relationships.

Construct a cute candy bag, u can buy a cute gift bag from a store and put both yall pictures on there or just hers. And in the bag, put candy in there that describes how u feel about her or how yall relationship is. Since she is a newly girlfriend, u should give her m&ms for mr and mrs, or snickers cuz she make u snicker (lol get it, she makes u laugh)

an appropriate christmas card, nothing too mushy, but a trifle caring, she probably doesn't expect a gift now that she is an ex. but it is nice that you respect what you once had...this is a difficult time to break up, you know, before the holidays. but you have to do what you have to do...yep, I say a nice card...

I encountered this a few years ago, nice pyjamas(not lingere) and a teddy bear or something cheesy like that..not to serious but enough to show you care

Why? It just causes drama and sends mixed messages. Are you trying to keep her on the string? You should just send a card.

No. i might discover it strange in case you probably did. She dumped you, you're shifting faraway from one yet another...why might you provide her a latest. in case you're ultimate acquaintances then i might in simple terms provide her a birthday card and want her nicely. it incredibly is a beneficial concept.
