Um, it's a parable. They compared Jesus to a Bridegroom. technically, speaking with the parable, the bride is YOU. a bride takes on the name of her husband. then they can be together for life or for eternity if it was a temple marriage. when we take upon ourselves the name of CHRIST, we can be forever with Him in the kingdom of heaven with our familes.
