Start - 210. I lost 10% or, 21 pounds in about two months.
I'm doing a combination of Weight Watchers and marathon training. I'm down to 177 now, with a goal of 145. (5'8")
It's just a matter of priorities. What's more important to you? Dessert or flat stomach? Sometimes you have to take it a day, an hour or a minute at a time, but it can be done.

I lost 100 pounds (from 215 to 115) in about a year by watching what I eat and exercising. The healthy way to lose weight is about 1-2 pounds a week so probably about 10 weeks to lose 20 the healthy way.

Lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks??
There are some websites on the Internet, which promise you that you are going to lose 10 pounds in every 2 weeks. If you are good in math you will find that keeping these stats in mind, 260 pounds in a year. Losing 260 pounds is the figure, which is unbelievable and unexpected.
This kind of claims are planned just to cause clients to make impulsive decisions. When you gain weight, did you gained around 50 minds in two months? Certainly not. We gain weight in weight in small parts, which add up to our weight. This keeps on increasing with time.
I think you get what I mean to say. We normally gain weight in grams like 65 gram per week. With this stat you are going to gain around 7 pounds at the end of year.
This weight is so slow that you cannot measure it weekly. But in fur years you are going to gain around 28 pounds.
So how can you expect this weight to go in few days? You are going to lose the way you have gained it. So it will take time to lose weight. So you have to start losing weight systematically. You can lose weight by developing the good eating habits in you and nutritious foods.

You're going to have to do a "lifestyle change". Basically you're going to have to watch what you eat, or at least cut your portion size (and no junk food) and excercise. You already have a "six-pack", but they're tucked behind the fat in your abdomen. Regular situps or crunches won't do. The best way that worked on me was to do hanging leg lifts. Lift your legs slowly up and slowly down. Take your time with this, it won't come over night. In four months, I lost forty lbs. Lose your weight slowly. Patience is the key. Best of luck to you.

My starting weight was 213. I cleansed to loose weight. I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried Isagenix 9 day cleanse. I'm going to do it again next month. My doctor recommended it to me for my weight loss. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Even if it's just walking around the mall or the track. I'm now on month 2 and I've lost a total of 35lbs. Good luck.

One has to be careful because your 6 pack could turn into a keg.
