First of all, under no circumstances is it okay for you to meet this boy. If he is 17 and you are only 13, you need to realize that, while it only may seem like a few years, he has far more experiance in life than you do. Second of all, you're only 13! Enjoy your adolescence while you still have it. There is a very good reason why people do not make proposels of marraige until they are older.

Third of all, you say you met him over the internet. It was very easy for you to lie about your age. What makes you think he isn't doing the same? You're convinced you are talking to a 17 year old, while he is convinced he is talking to a 16 year old. In reality, he could be a 34 year old pervert who will do a lot more damage to you than be dissappointed about your dishonestly regarding your age.

((Goddess)) I too grew up in the South and learned quickly how to lie about my age.I believe my mother has been about 30 for as long as I can remember. I truly believe the larger sin here would be p1ssing off your mother though. If she is anything like *my* mother, it may be something that you will never recover from. Mother's in the South seem to have a talent for knowing exactly what to say, and how to say it to make you look bad, and they come out smelling like a rose. Social devils! I would rather deal with an angry God any day, that have my mother on a rampage! My suggestion is to calculate an age that would be just old enough so that your mother could have had you, but still leaves you within the age limits that you will accept. Best of luck Goddess...

Sorry, but he is right...you are 13, just a kid. You can't really love someone until you know them, truly know them inside and out, and if you lied about your age then he doesn't know the real you. I know you have a crush on this guy, but you are still very young...you have a right to a childhood and you should fight for it. Wait a few years until you are older to start experimenting with love, and you will be ready. The moral of the story is, you should tell him the truth and maybe he'll like you as you are...and if not, wait a few years and date guys your own age.

He's gonna dump your ***. You screwed up. You're practically jail bait. Are you in sixth grade? Shame on your parents for even letting you have this guy you met online come to your house. He's probably like 60 and an ex con.

Your parents should really be whipped for letting you meet in person someone you met online. If you lied about your age, don't you think he could have lied about his? He could be a 40 year old pedophile for all you know and you are 13, way too young to be thinking about being in love.

Lying off the bat is a wrong in a relationship if you are lying about your age now what will be next. be honest, if he breaks up with you it is your fault. If you don't tell him the truth and he finds out he will be either embarrassed or really mad. Would you blame him.

Your starting your relationship out with a lie, that's never good. Tell him now and take your lumps. If you two are really in love you will both wait until you're older. Good luck!

You have to tell him in one year it will be illegal and he will get into a lot of trouble because of you. Tell him right now or you will regret it!
