why the exscuses, when people choose to disregard the Bibles commands?

Remember satan telling Adam and Eve, that if they disobeyed God, concerning the tree, that they would not die? Yet, they did die! He was the father of the first lie! some thousands of years later, satan still implies that black is White, and that White is Black.
Today, many people go to church, and they say, it's ok to be gay, or, its ok, to steal, etc. And they always use the exscuse,..."God loves everybody. Well, if that were the case, the why, did God destroy isrealites for disobediance? He (God), clearly loved Adam, and Eve, yet, they "WERE" punished for disobediance. I want to know why this happens today, among people, they disobey the Bible, and exscuse it away with, "God loves everybody." And do not give me the old testiment, new testiment lingo. The Bible plainly states, that God is "UNCHANGING" in his Statutes.

They died later. But I don't recall it saying they would have eternal life to begin with. In fact, I believe that after they ate of the Tree of Knowledge, they were banned from the garden before they could eat of the Tree of Life. So that tells me they didn't have eternal life to begin with.

We don't need Satan... we do quite well on our own. It's a shame when someone has to blame an outside source for the evil that comes from man.

If he's unchanging in his statutes, then I would have to ask if you are following all of the Old Test. And if so, isn't using a Computer against those laws for the Sabbath? Considering Sabbath started at sunset Friday Night and goes till sunset Saturday Night. I mean, when you look at the laws, it expressly states that one should not start a fire on the Sabbath and it's my understanding that using electricity is viewed as the same as starting a fire.

I don't need excuses you do .You are the proselytizer of weak
fabrications that don't hold up under scrutiny.Your god says unchanging and the Islamic god says always changing isn't that an irony for god . Is he the schizoid?

Why the excuses? Because they want to be saved 'in' their sins and not 'from' their sins. It is much nicer(and easier) to be able to do a favorite sin and still think everything is ok than not. I used to be the same way until I finally understood 'putting off the old man'. Even Jesus knew that people would do these things:
Matt 7:21  ¶Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
People have done this sort of thing through all the ages. What you have to remember is that God knows everyones heart. He knows their motives. He knows....nothing is hid from Him. In the end He knows who obeys Him and who does not. Who loves Him and who does not, and to each He will give a deserving reward.

Why do you claim he gave authority to the Bible?

Maybe that's why so many people are confused!
