depends on your OPINION, because that is all you are asking for.
I would say "no" because:
Atheists have never:
1)condemned anyone to an eternity in hell for not having the same opinion
2)led a crusade resulting in the slaughter of tens of thousands for simply not sharing the same belief
3)killed in the name of (or lack of) god

...but organized religions (including Christianity) HAVE

There are some Christians who are better people than some Atheists. And some Atheists who are better than some Christians. As a whole, they pretty much break even.

Are you kidding me? What is wrong with you. How can you ask if one group of people are better than another group of people. How is it that because some people believe something different than other people, it makes them "better"? It is wrong from the start, to ask if some people are better than others. But to say this based on beliefs is just wrong. By the way, christians and atheists both believe in something, they're just different things. Does this make Christians better? You tell me

No. People are human and some are good and some are not. Religion does not make you better. Christians are expect to 'forgive' and to recognize that we are not better because we all have our faults. We are people that face good times and bad times and that during you life you will make mistakes and do wrong to others. We will be tempted to do wrong. Christians are encouraged to realize they are weak and need help and there is a way to get help through faith and trying to do good unto other and yourself. Christianity does not promice to make anyone a better person but it will give you a way to be a good (but not better) person. The same can be said for Jew and Muslim. We all try to be good.

Romans 3:10:
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
No one is better.. The only difference is that we christians believe in GOD and what HE did for us on the cross.. Born again christians will spend eternity with Jesus..
Atheists do not believe in GOD and have no relationship with HIM... Anyone not born again will not enter heaven but will spend eternity separate from GOD..

I don't think either is better. I believe that everyone is equal. It seems like most Christians believe they are better because they are quick to say everyone else is wrong if they don't believe everything the bible says. To my knowledge, God said to love thy neighbor. Not love who believes what you do. You rarely here about atheists doing things like that. It makes you wonder who is right???

No, we are all sinner and fall short of the Glory of God. He loves everyone the same. He doesn't wish anything bad for anyone. But because of free will, sometimes bad things happen to us.

Jesus asked us not to Judge.

Determining levels of acceptability requires Judgment. All people are good people. There are no levels of acceptability with respect to Gods creations.
