There is this older guy I like at work.(he's 40 and I am 22) He seems to like me too. We always go to lunch together. He knows I have a boyfriend(who i am in the process of breaking up with). He also keeps questioning the status of me and my boyfirend. Well,Last week, he asked if I wanted to go out . I told him yes. Well, I have been looking forward to going out with him all week and I call him tonight and he tells me he does not want to go out.
His reasons were somewhat vague.
He said the age difference and the fact that I have a boyfriend is kind of bothersome. I just wish he would have told me this before. He also stated he would love to hang out with me but we should keep it within work such a going to lunch or whatever.
What does he really mean.

I think maybe he liked the fantasy more than the reality. It has to be; now that you can pursue to see what the two of you can have, he backs away.
This guy is confusing. Keep your distance from him. He doesn't know what he wants.

Forget about it. He just wanted to see if he still had it. Dump your boyfriend,your young and keep things to dating{like shopping} till you find the right one.
