yes, it can be done but you must be able to lift a machine that weighs in excess of 5 tons. I guess thats not a problem if "the force is with you"
Even yoda had the young skywalker lift his space ship out of the swamp in the empire strikes back or was it return of he jedi. surely that thing wieghed more than 10,000 pounds since it was full of water and had a bunch of muck on the outside.

No. The only lasers that we have now do not have the physical properties of the ones you have seen on the movies.
