Hi Deborah,
Please, whatever you do, DO NOT put anything in your hair for, at the very least, 10 days. If you do, you will severly damage your hair and some of it may even fall out.
Please go to a hair salon and let them evaluate your hair and what should be done to correct your hair color back to the color blonde that you'd like. If you opt not to go to a salon and to bleach it yourself, again, please wait for 10 days before doing so.
Have a lovely rest of the evening.

It will not go blonde and because you bought an ash blonde it will get more of an oragne tinge to it. If you want to go blonde you should by a streaking kit, put in lots of highlights. Then wait like a week and do it again. The streaking kit is more of a salon brand dye and works ALOT better, It will take a little longer to get it to the blonde you want but its will look SO MUCH better. This is what i did and i had black hair and went, like heidi montag blonde.

Unfortunately you are stuck with it. Your hair can only take so much stress to it. And when i was younger I did the same exact thing you did. If you bleach it and dye it blonde again you will fry your hair and risk it either falling out or becoming so dry that it breaks off.
The best bet for you if you want to go back to blonde is to wait a month so your hair can rest and then put in blonde highlights thru a salon. Don't do it yourself. You will have to grow out the brown and cut it off. That is the only way you can go to be safe.

the only way to really get hair lightened from a dark colour is by getting it professionally done. if you try putting bleach on it, it will damage your hair, give you split ends and frizziness. The colour will most likely fade a little bit with shampooing it and all that but it will take you growing your hair out and getting it cut for it to be healthy and back to your natural colour. too much dying and re dying will cause cuticle damage of the hair and eventually cortex damage.. which you definetly do not want.

Okay... if you want to get your hair back to the same color to BLONDE then you would have to get bleach and bleach it out and if you dont like it then you can get a darker blonde and dye like that and it would turn bak to the same color(it depends how dark the brown is. and how blonde it was at first.)
