I assume you mean a stamp like in a press. That would be an example of a wedge. Through the tooling geometry, it uses a downward force to separate material.

If you mean a postage stamp then I give up.

Are you talking about the "Basic Stamp"? Its a microcontroller with code and a compiler that allows you to program it in BASIC code.
