I don't think it is that easy, although you must note that most people in the Navy SEALs don't do it for the money. Making it into the Navy SEALs is not something most people can just wake up and do.

I would believe also that private military contractors like Blackwater USA only want the best of the best, not just any old soldier who passed spec ops training. You would have to have experience in the field, when preparing a "resume" of your abilities and skills. Just passing training will not cut it.

In some ways, being a private contractor is even more dangerous than being in the employ of a recognised government, for many military forces will view you as a mercenary and thus not entitled to the basic rights afforded POWs under the Geneva Protocol. In short, if they capture, you, they will probably kill you on sight; they will also certainly have no qualms about torturing you.

So if you wanted to be a field operative for Blackwater, you have a long way to go. Just reaching Navy SEALs training is very arduous and trying, not just physically, but mentally as well.

no u cant just try out for the special forces!! its a long intense process of being selected and passing tests!! and once u are one u cant just quit because your usually required to sign up for a multiyear tour, like 5-10 years. this is why the blackwater forces make so much, because there are so few speacial forces that are willing to go back into combat after already serving our country.

No, you need a proven track record in combat to get hired. And having on your record that you are a quiter is no way to impress an organization full of combat vets and special operations folks.

Blackwater would laugh in your face. They hire experienced operators, not young dumb nut cases.

You'd never make it and don't deserve it. Not with that attitude.
