When does God's image and likeness leave Him and experience loss of memory or love? Never is the answer. Jesus came back and remembered and loved as He had done so before the death experience.

Well for what I know a person who's dead can't think or has memory, because his memory is in his soul an when you die your spirit an soul goes back to God awaiting for jugdment. And your body remains in the grave. According to the bible our bodys is just a shell and our spirit an soul dwells in it.I hope this helps out. There is so much to talk about in this subject.

It depends on what you define the "person" to be. If you are talking of the body only which has no life of its own without the spirit then you are correct. But if you are speaking of the eternal spirit which gives the body life then that is incorrect. The spirit remembers everything with perfect clarity and continues to have the same feelings and desires that it had while inhabiting the physical body. Those that love us and have left this earthly life still love us and desire for us to be happy.

Dead people, as you refer to souls who have graduated from their earthly studies love you more than you can ever know.

They are more than willing to try to assist you in difficult times, or with understandings that you are trying to attain. All you need do is ask sincerely for their assistance.

When you finish this present course of study and slip out of the earthly raiment you will be met in spirit by loved ones who remember and love you dearly. They will assist you in your transition back into your true reality as spirit. The love they have for you will be beyond question.

On this you can depend.

Sorry no silly verses will tell you about this truth.

Love and blessings Don

The dead know nothing, as for the spirit no one on this planet can give you a true answer of what happens after death.

In 1 John 3, John speaks about the love of God for His children. He states that the children of God do not know what they will be but that they will be like Christ. From this we should be able to infer that a "dead person" will pass from this life to the next and be filled with God's light and will be able to truly love for eternity.

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure."

Are you talking about on the other side? Our souls will have memories of all of our previous lives and the love we had for those in those lives.
