Being a blonde already, you would need to get lowlights , not highlights. Depends on what color scheme you are looking for. Some auburn would look nice or chestnut.

nothing really dark, maybe a caramel color, or something a shade or 2 darker.

I think you should get some carmel or some other darker color. but not too dark like black.
