Most pagan religions don't even believe in the Christian concept of ultimate evil.... Satan... and as a Wiccan, we're encouraged to believe and think what we're comfortable believing and thinking... not what someone else believes and thinks to be true.

Thanks for the answers... Yahoo actually deleted this question a couple minutes ago... apparently because I used the word "frustrated" while asking my question.

I love that part in the Bible where it says not to judge others. Apparently more than one person skipped over that part.

It's an easy way to discard it as valid. And then they don't have to actually look at it, because family, friends and their preacher told them it was evil. For them, that is enough. For me, it seems rather odd for someone to claim they are standing on truth when they completely refuse to look at something other than what they think is Truth. This is not standing on Truth. But, as it says, the blind shall lead the blind.

Mostly due to lack of research.
I'm a Christian with a Wiccan father. Most other Christians do not understand that Wiccans do not worship Satan or practice dark arts. Although there are a few Wiccans who abuse the religion, there are followers in all religions who abuse their faith.
Just have patience. The stereotype of pagan religions runs centuries deep. Encourage those who don't understand by recommending a good book that accurately portrays the belief. If they want nothing to do with it, than let it be. Ignorance will cause them to loose good prospective friends.

Some people believe, as your explanation pointed out, that anything "pagan" isn't of God. Anything not of God, as these people believe, is a cult or Satanic. I'm not trying to "dazzle you with bs", I'm only pointing out a fact.

most Christians do not know what Wicca believe,
you might try explaining , exactly what you believe,

I find that a lot of non believer have the same concept of Christianity.
I do not say all but a lot, and that leads to confusion among all of us.

If the pot is black and the kettle is black it would be safe to say they are black. Pagan religion is satanism. It is a cult. It is against God. It is black and white. Satan is the darkness and God is the light. Open your soul and see the light of God. He will forgive you. Get on your knees and ask God into your life. Confess your sins with your mouth from your soul. He will forgive you and cleanse you. Then follow his direction for your life. You will be at peace and see truth then.

Because they aren't educated and are afraid to become so. Many are also ignorant and foolish.
