I am going to get my neice a bit of candy for christmas, but I would like it to be healthy. Any suggestions of candy that is low in BOTH saturated fat and sugars???

There are lots of sugar-free candies on the shelves in grocery stores. Crystal Light makes some nice hard candies, and Weight Watchers makes sugar-free versions of lots of chocolate candies (but they tend to cause diarrhea!).

For the least fat, try York Peppermint Patties, junior Mints, or Riesen Chocolate Chews. SnackWell's Dips and Clusters are also lower in fat. Hershey's Sweet Escapes also clock in at the lower-fat end of the chart. Instead of solid chocolate, they give you chocolate-coated wafers, caramel, rice, or corn. More sugary filling has kept 3Musketeers lower in fat for decades.

In contrast, Mars says that it cuts the fat in its Milky Way Lite to half that of a regular Milky Way by using skim milk instead of whole, less cocoa butter, and polydextrose, a safe bulking agent that's often used in fatfree salad dressings.

go to health food store or better yet, if you're near a large or progressive city, a large health food grocery type store like Whole Foods or Wild Oats. You can get candy that is sweetend with Stevia, an herb which contains no sugar but is very sweet. Plus the candy will have other more natural and organic products in it.

OMG.........what's candy without the sugar, especially at christmas. Unless your niece is a diabetic, go for the gold........Chocolate all the way! Happy Holidays.

How about Must, sucking candies, they are very little calories, and no sugar, no fat, my mother buys them.
Or you can buy twizzlers for her, there aren't a lot of fat or sugar in it.

Don't get her candy. Get her some crackers.
