I've recently set up a website aimed at getting some kitties that live on the street near my place into homes. It has live streaming video of the kitties needing homes 24 hours a day. I have a beautiful 8 1/2 week old kitten on the front page (i rescued her, her mom & brother when she was 4 weeks) and she's needed a home for awhile and I'm getting no inquiries about her. I have pics, info and a youtube video clip for her!! Do her pics make her look ugly or sick or something? Please let me know, she's beautiful and really needs a home of her own (I'm looking after too many at the moment to give her the time and attention she needs and her brother has already gone to his forever home). The site is http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
I have already adopted 8 myself, and really need help with the other 12 plus this kitten!
Any ideas?
Thanks

good for YOU! Honeslty! Kudos. Rescue and Rehab of animals is really really tough, amny people want the cute cuddly history free pet, not the street wise mongerers that we have created out of our abuse and neglect. Get your website out to as many people as you can. Go you your local vets, pet stores, pet supply stores, anywhere you can think, and put up posters with pics of the cats and your website addy, the more exposure you provide the more exposure your kitties will get. I wish you all the very best and you are doing such an amazing thing... keep up the really hard work!

omg!!! THEY ARE ALL GORGEOUS!!!! =D =D =D =D =D
well done on all the hard work. you should be elected for some sort of award. i've been in your position once before when i was 5 years old. we had just gotten a cat off the street and she was pregnant with 11 kittens. we had to give them away, but we kept 2 and the mother. 1 of the kittens had past on 2 years ago and the other had went missing ='(. the mother was given away, al though we now own a kitten. i cherish this kitten very much so.

so keep up all the hard work and keep trying may God bless you.
much love and appreciation of what you have done for those cats.

you are wonderful to be helping so many cats, i know it can be overwhelming. And i could only look at the pictures of this sweet kitty, my computer would not let me see the videos. But in the pictures she is ADORABLE. Try talking to your local rescue groups to see if they have room, or if they know of anyone who can foster them. You can also ask the local vet clinics if they know of anyone looking for a kitten, or if they take kittens in who need adopted. I work at one that does take in kittens who need homes, and we also try to find kittens for those who are looking. Good luck, i hope this helps. And i hope all of your kitties find homes. You are a wonderful and very caring person.

I so admire you for your video about the kittens.

No the pictures don't make her look ugly or sick. They are just great.

I just adopted two of my own.

I must say again, you are a wonderful pet owner to put this great video out. Good luck.

P.s. It would be good, unless I missed it, what area are you from? People may want to know about the distance to adopt.

Spread the word around town and put an article in the newspaper if you can. Classifieds section too. Ask friends if they know of anyone and ask family members too!

Good luck with giving her away, she is a beautiful kitten!

Most people won't give out any information except for their email address.... but, then again, the awareness of the "crazy people" out there is huge and there is a small risk for it now. But, still the risk is huge being that children get kidnapped all the time.

If you work hard enough it will get a home especially if you put up posters. Or tack care of it yourself ,but if your planning on tacking care of it temporally don't get to attached
