He could just be nice. But you might ask yourself why he was hanging around the stairway.

Sounds like he was just being nice, but that doesn't mean he isn't interested. You should make it a point to be around him. Let him know that you like his company, and see where things go. See if he stays around you or if he moves away. If you really like him after a while, drop him a small hint, or a big one. Something along the lines of "I wouldn't mind if it you asked me out ya know" or something like that. The only feeling better than wondering if he likes you will be when he tells you he does. Give it a chance.

i think most any guy would help up most any girl if she had just fallen down some stairs. this one just happened to be hott. i say make the most out of all chance encounters. if you want to catch his eye, just don't hurt yourself falling down. the ice is broken, go for it.

Most guys like it slinky and sexy, but I'm sure you don't want to look like a whore or something, so dress nice but not to revealing and just talk to him.
