They are not good at all, unless you use them for one or two separate words, otherwise you will just get complete nonsense.

I would only use it as a
help tool, as the translations
are not very good. They miss
more than they 'catch'.

If you tried to translate what
I've just written above, it would
make no sense in Spanish,
but it could help you identify
the meaning of a word, but
they don't catch the gist which
is what learning a language is
all about.

The best on-line spanish to english translator is Alta vista Babel fish...you can find it at---babel.altavista.com...very easy to use! And you can even do full pages of text,or type in what you want to say.
