I have eaten yogurts weeks after the sell by date and have never had a problem.

A little bit of advise, and this is from an 'environmental health officer ' Anything you buy that has, "A Use By" date Must not be used after that date, especially Dairy Products. Anything with " A Best Before " date it doesn't really matter, you can use anytime.

The general rule for foods made from vaginal by-products is one extra day of freshness per inch of vagina. As yogourt is produced using secretions from cow vaginas - and we all know cows have 19-inch vaginas - 19 days past the sell-by date is generally accepted as a safe guidline for yogurt.
