Blasphemy was his official charge

They say the official reason that Jesus was executed was that he was trying to overturn the structure and governing powers of the Jews. This is obviously completely bogus and just an excuse for the Jewish head honchos to make sure no one tried to show their people the truth.

Just to clarify, I have nothing against Jews, just the Pharisees and "Teachers of the Law" who are hypocrites in the Gospels.

Before I elaborate, I will define "ransom." A ransom consists of two things. First, a ransom is the price paid to bring about a release or to buy something back. It might be compared to the price paid for the release of a prisoner of war. Second, a ransom is the price that covers, or pays, the cost of something.

Simply, the ransom is Jehovah God's means to deliver, or save, humankind from sin and death. Ephesians 1:7 states: "By means of him we have the release by ransom through the blood of that one, yes, the forgiveness of [our] trespasses, according to the riches of his undeserved kindness."

The only way for one to grasp the words above, they have to think back what happened in the garden of Eden. We can only understand what Adam lost when he sinned can we appreciate why the ransom is such a valuable gift to us.

Remember, Adam, created by Jehovah God, was created perfect and "in His image." (See Genesis 1:27) Some of God's qualities that Adam possessed were love, wisdom, power and justice. Most important, he had a close relationship with God. Despite everything that God gave him, Adam disobeyed God and was condemned for it. Jehovah tested Adam (and his wife Eve) because He wanted to see if our first human parents were serving God because he had everything or if he truly loved His God.

Unfortunately, you know the story. Adam takes fruit [NOT THE APPLE, a fruit] from Eve and eats it. Because of Adam's (and Eve's) subsequent death, in order for everlasting life and to have our sins forgiven, there needed to be someone who was equal to Adam.

Since a perfect human life was lost, no IMperfect human life could ever buy it back. (See Psalm 49:7, 8) What was needed was a ransom equal in value to what was lost, which is in harmony with Deuteronomy 19:21, which says (in short), "Soul will be for soul." Therefore, another perfect human life was the "corresponding ransom" that was required. (See 1 Timothy 2:6)

Moreover, Jesus ransom provided mankind with a chance to have everlasting life, the way Adam and Eve had it, before they disobeyed Jehovah God. In order to have that chance of everlasting life, we must heed the words of John 17:3, which mentions the importance of taking in knowledge of the true God, thus, giving us everlasting life. I will end the discussion here and let the viewers read this. I hope this clears up some mi

So the religious leaders, not mentioning their earlier trial during which they condemned Jesus for blasphemy, now trump up different charges. They make the three-part accusation: “This man we found [1] subverting our nation and [2] forbidding the paying of taxes to Caesar and [3] saying he himself is Christ a king.”

Pilate calls the chief priests, the Jewish rulers, and the people together and says: “You brought this man to me as one inciting the people to revolt, and, look! I examined him in front of you but found in this man no ground for the charges you are bringing against him. In fact, neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us; and, look! nothing deserving of death has been committed by him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.”

It wasn't recorded anywhere. In fact there is no Roman documentation to back up the story at all.
