Well, I was in your position once. So, I decided I'd take the bold route. I walked up to him and said "You, Me, and the Red Lobster. We should make that happen." As corny as it sounded, it worked! Sometimes the direct approach is best.

Whatever you do DON'T GIVE ANY NOTES. It's wayyy too impersonal and I've gotten so many notes that I cried =( Just ask him out and if he says no then just accept it and maybe you could ask that you wanted to get to know him and go out for coffee be friends and everything but the keyword here is FRIENDS.

Why don't you see if he'll ask you out? Next time you see him keep your eyes fixed on him and smile. Don't take your eyes off him for any reason. Keep smiling and looking at him once he notices you......and he will. If he doesn't come toward you then after a little while you walk slowly toward him. Don't take your eyes off him and keep smiling as you walk. When you get up to him keep smiling and timidly say, "Hi." I am sure during the conversation that follows either he will ask you out or you will ask him out. Try it.

Hey I've had this problem before and I'm a coward if I go around a guy in school in the halls he could be 10 miles away and I blush soo bad but back to your probs. I usually get my friends to do it but your not me so I suggest you just go over to him and say hey do you wanna go out but if your as shy as I am you should go to your friends anyways what are friends for

you should first before you also him out give him a note telling him how you feel. have him reply to it and hope it says he likes you too. that's how i ended up with my boyfriend. if u end up together than make sure u still put notes in each others lockers to keep in touch when u don't have that class with them. then ask him in email or just like after school before he leaves then you could ask him. that's how my boyfriend asked me out!

Don't ask him out. He will get the hint with your body language and your words, assuming you know him well enough and you have ample opportunity to speak with him. Even if you only see him occasionally in passing, use your eyes. That will invite him to talk to you if he is available and looking.

do not send him a note that is the quickest way to failer! and its equaly as bad wen a friend asks cuz well they might get the impression that "he or she doesnt like me enough that they cant do it them selfs they have to do it the easy way out." well i would either ask him in class, in the hall, lunch, after or before skool. or get his number and ask him, but ur better off face to face i kno that its never racking way but its harder for them to say no unless they have no heart but ya i would do it face to face

Be yourself, talk to him, get to know him. See if you two click. When the time is right ask him to see a movie with you, or have dinner or whatever.
