I have 4 persian kittens, when they drink, they get their face and neck wet. This makes the white on their chin and neck ruff yellow.
Do you have good advice on how to remove these stains saftely?
I have used whitening shampoo.

Hydrogen peroxide might work. I work in a vet's office and we use it to clean blood out of white hair. I've also heard that zookeepers use it on polar bears to make their coats nice & white.

Check out the following link:

It talks about cleaning a white persian, so it should be of some help.

I totally agree with the hydrogen peroxide. One small disclaimer - it can also be an emetic (used to produce vomiting), so make sure that you get it out of the hair after you use it. You don't want her to groom herself and then end up pukey! :)

You could consult a veterinarian, I wouldn't use any human product on a cat unless directed to by a vet.

Try Dawn dish liquid and warm water to see if that would work.I'm not totally sure if this is even going to work, but I guess it's worth a try.
