Most facial piercings are not flattering on any kind of nose or face.

It has a lot to do with nose shape, yes. Nose studs look best on the type of nose that has a cup or divot on the side. However, they can look good on a round nose if you get it pierced correctly--with a needle. Then you can wear a small stud, and it will look just as good. Many women get their noses pierced with a gun...that is no longer a nose stud, it is an earring...and far to big for anyone's nose in my opinion. I also think it would look nice if you wore a nose ring (or loop). I can't pull that off, but I sure wish I could!

Yay, nose piercings!
Unfortunately, I can't tell you if it would look good on you based on the description you've provided. Some people look really good with them and others don't.
If you're a bit nervous about how a piercing will look on you, I'd advise getting a stick-on nose stud or a clip-on nose ring before you do it just to get an idea.
If you do decide to go through with it and it ends up that you don't like it, just take it out and it should heal back up. Voila!

I'm african american too and trust me it will look good on you, so long as it's not a huge one. my boyfriend's best friend(who is white) actually said my nose ring looked because of the way my nose is shaped. So go for it.

go to one of the places in the mall where they do piercings and ask for magnetic nose stud try it out see if you like it If you do get the real deal if you don't don't, you will still have the magnetic one and can change your look depending on the scenario your in...

Oh honey you can get one. I got one and I got that "round african american nose" it actually looks good because od the little indent....I'll even show you my pic of my nose ring.

i sure do believe they look good on some but you're right to question. some make the larger nose look even larger. try one of those sticky studs to see how it will look on you. also the size of jewelry will make a difference too. take someone along you trust their judgement.

belive me, ive seen enough nose piercings to say it'll look good as long as you take care of it right and get it done right

if u have a cute african nose then yeah peirce away! but if it is the flat one think twice maybe a nice tatto will do!
